Meet at the National Trust car park, Watlington Hill. A hilly walk in the Chilterns, mainly on open chalk grassland through Christmas Common, skirting Pyrton Hill, Shirburn Wood and Aston Rowant Nature Reserve, returning on the Ridgeway and Oxfordshire Way. There are two extended climbs but the views are worth it. Bring refreshments for en route break and picnic afterwards or nearby pub. Short section of walking along a minor road. Assistance dogs only.
