Meet at Southend, Bucks, the village green. From Turville Hath follow the sign to Southend for 0.7 miles. By the village name board, turn left onto a lane on the edge of the green and park considerately on its right-hand verge. The walk explores a number of Chiltern woods, and open country around the Oxon-Bucks border, passing through Turville Heath, Pishill and Maidensgrove and returning through Stonor Park. Hilly with some fine views. Includes part of the Oxfordshire Way and Shakespeare’s Way. The walk is taken from the Oxfordshire Way by Nick Moon (2019 edition). Bring refreshment for en-route break and a picnic. Short stretches on minor roads. Assistance dogs only. Please car share if comfortable with this.
