Meet at the Village Green Quainton, Bucks. This circular Christopher Somerville walk from Quainton to North Marston quickly provides some fine and far-reaching views from the brow of Simber and Quainton Hills and later passes the hummocky remains of a deserted medieval village, a holy well and ridge and furrow field patterns. It could be muddy in places and a walking pole might be helpful. The village is worth a wander around afterwards. Bring a picnic/refreshments for a break en route. We cross minor roads.
