Meet at Nuffield – the Holy Trinity Church. Small parking area to east of the church (donations welcome), or, if necessary, park thoughtfully along the road (but not in front of the church). From Nuffield we soon make our way for one and three-quarters miles on a lovely wooded section of the Ridgeway which runs alongside the ancient earthworks of Grim’s Ditch. We then join the Chiltern Way through Wicks Wood to Hailey, where we take a track up through Boxmoor Wood, eventually turning north through farmland to return to Nuffield. Bring refreshment for en-route break. Short sections along, or crossing, quiet minor road. Assistance dogs only. Marsaleete
