Meet at Lewknor, near Leathern Bottle pub. Please park sensibly in the village, not in pub car park. Morning walk: over the top to Lower Vicar’s Farm and back. Afternoon up Beacon Hill, across to the A40 and down the bridleway on the other side, returning along the Ridgeway. Bring refreshments for en route break, and a picnic, pub will be available if it is still operating. Afternoon walk crosses A40 twice, both walks cross B4009 twice at traffic island. Dogs on leads.
