Meet at Leafield, by the school. Park considerately in the village. This walk is a figure of eight and can be shortened to 4 miles in adverse weather conditions. It uses several ancient tracks and crosses the site of an important Roman villa. We pass Shaken Oak Farm which may be familiar to lovers of mustard ! We also pass the site of a World War 2 dispersal airfield. Bring refreshment for en-
