This is the second section of the Oxford to Banbury Canal Walk, from Oxford to Heyford
Meet at Heyford Station car park (free) or outside Oxford Railway station for other travellers. Various travel options include bus travel. It is vital to contact the leader in advance to make travel arrangements and time to meet – Lyn Watkin.
We will take the train to Oxford and walk back to Heyford. This is a flat walk passing many locks and lift bridges along the way. Please bring snacks and a picnic lunch, also plenty of fluids. Possible lunchtime stop at Thrupp tea room and tea shop at the end of the walk. Dogs welcome on leads.
