Meet at Cowleaze Picnic Area, main entrance. Take M40 Jct 5 (Stokenchurch), take A40 toward Oxford, then left on Christmas Common Road. After 1.6 miles, turn left into the picnic area. An undulating and varied walk which takes in the Aston Rowant Nature Reserve, with extensive views from Beacon Hill. If you have ever looked out of the window on a London-bound coach and wondered about the footpath on your left as the M40 climbs through the cut after Lewknor, this is your chance to find out. Bring refreshment for en-route break. We cross a minor road twice. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome. Marsaleete
