Meet at Combe, the Cock Inn, village green. Please park considerately nearby. A circular walk leading westwards into the Evenlode Valley, passing North Leigh Roman Villa, recrossing the river and joining the Oxfordshire Way along the course of Akeman Street, an ancient Roman road. We then explore some of Blenheim Park with fine views of the palace and lake, before returning to Combe. This walk is taken from ‘The Oxfordshire Way’ by Nick Moon (2019 edition).
