The walk starts by the River Evenlode, leaving at Chilson and climbing gently up to the Wychwood Forest before returning to Ascott-under-Wychwood. There are many open views of the valleys and hills of this unspoilt Cotswold area. The B 4437 crossed twice. Bring refreshment for en-route break, pub available in Ascott-under-Wychwood.
