Crossing Preservation Trust land and taking a footpath to Chiswell Farm, then downhill to Wyevale Garden Centre. Returning up Chiswell Path and Happy Valley to Jarn Mound. John and Joyce

Meet at Heyford Station car park (free) or outside Banbury Railway station for other travellers. Various travel options include bus travel. It is vital to contact the leader in advance to make travel arrangements and time to meet – Lyn Watkin.
We take the train to Banbury and then walk back to Heyford. This flat, even walk follows the Jurassic Way and Oxford Canal Walk passing many locks and lift bridges through the Oxfordshire countryside. Please bring snacks and a picnic lunch plus plenty to drink – canal shop at Aynho Wharf and tea shop at the end. Dogs on leads welcome.

We will be walking along the Ridgeway from Ivinghoe Beacon to Nuffield over three days covering 36 miles, about 12 miles each day. There will be car sharing and car shuffling each day. You must contact the leaders in advance if you want to join this group. Liz or Michael

A guided walk revealing the history of Stow from the Bronze and Iron Ages to the Normans, Wool Trade and Civil War. All on hard surfaces – walking boots not required – just stout shoes.
