Saturday 6th Annual outing with coach transport to Stourhead Gardens in Wiltshire
An 8 o’clock start from Pear Tree park and ride, Oxford. Visit the National Trust house and gardens preceded by a lovely forestry and meadows walk of 5 miles. Numbers limited. Full details and application form from the leader Brian Colley 01865 240032

Oxford Green Belt Way - Day 6. Meet at Sunningwell car park adjacent to the Village Hall for car shuffle back to Abingdon. Meet at the car park in Uffington. Please park tidily at end away from the hall. A linear walk to Lambourn, across the delightful Lambourn Downs, back to Uffington. To facilitate transport to Lambourn at the start of the walk, please call the walk leader on 01367 820411 no later than the day before the walk (a 14-seater minibus will be available at a cost of £1 per head). A pleasant morning walk via West Ginge and the Hendreds, with the opportunity to visit the Ardington Millennium Sundial. (Ideal spot for a picnic). Pub or tea room at the end of the walk. Meet at the National Trust water meadows car park at Northfield Barn, north of Sherborne village. A stroll around the water meadows in Sherborne Park (3miles), followed by a brisk walk to the Barringtons for lunch by the Windrush River. Pub stop (the Fox Inn) or picnic lunch.
