How to join the OFS With a healthy membership level the society has a strong voice in its representations to local authorities etc, and non-members are encouraged to join after their first or second walk. For those who wish to take an active role, the Walks Organiser is always seeking new walk leaders, and details of vacancies on the Executive Committee are given in the Annual Report, sent out with the Spring/Summer programme; alternatively they can be obtained from the Membership Secretary. The Annual General Meeting held in the Spring provides a forum for members to raise and discuss matters of common interest. The Society is affiliated to:
