Friday 4th 10am SP305395 6 miles Meet at the lay-by in Upper Brailes, near the Methodist Chapel. A circular walk across Brailes golf course to Cherington. A climb up Cherington Hill and back to Brailes. Fine views over undulating countryside. Pubs available for post walk lunch in Brailes. Fairly level and easy going in lovely countryside. Pub at the end of the walk. An easy and varied village and countryside evening walk via Milton. Could be muddy in places if wet. A delightful walk in the Chilterns including a section on the Ridgeway and Icknield Way via Cookley Green and Swyncombe. Some hills. Please bring your own refreshments for en route break.
