Meet at Skirmett Road car park, (free), between Mill End and Hambleden (located on the left if heading towards Hambleden). We begin with a short stroll up the valley to the attractive village of Hambleden before making our way to the banks of the Thames, which we follow to Henley, where we cross the river. Our route then ascends the wooded slopes of Remenham, eventually returning to the Thames and re-crossing at the impressive Hambleden Weir. Bring refreshment for en-route break and picnic. Some busy road crossings and we will walk through Henley town centre but otherwise peaceful and scenic. Assistance dogs only. Marsaleete

Meet at Yarnton Village Hall car park, for the pre-AGM walk. A circular walk southwards from Yarnton towards Oxford, then looping round via the Open Access area of West Mead to Cassington. We will return to Yarnton via Rectory Farm, Worton. Bring refreshment for en-route break. Crosses the A40. Dogs on leads. Adam

The walk starts by the River Evenlode, leaving at Chilson and climbing gently up to the Wychwood Forest before returning to Ascott-under-Wychwood. There are many open views of the valleys and hills of this unspoilt Cotswold area. The B 4437 crossed twice. Bring refreshment for en-route break, pub available in Ascott-under-Wychwood. Meet at Wantage Manor Road Memorial car park, Manor Road on the A 338 (free). A circular walk from the book ‘Milestones to Millstones’ by Elaine Steane, with many interesting features. From Manor Road we pass the Market Square, King Alfred’s Statue and Wessex Flour Mill, a working mill, then walk to the spring-line villages of Letcombe Regis and Letcombe Basset and climb to the Ridgeway, returning via Letcombe Regis. Joint walk with the Ramblers. Late lunch at Courthill Centre on Ridgeway, café or picnic. Assistance dogs only. Buses from Oxford Abingdon, Didcot and Letcombe Regis. Please let leader know if arriving by bus, and we can meet you in the Market Square soon after 10.00 am. Siobhan
