The first part of the walk is on the west side of the River Evenlode passing through woods and a nature reserve near Bruern Abbey. The return is along more open ways to Fifield and back to Milton. Meet at Folly Bridge, on the Abingdon Road, by the Head of the River pub. A stroll along the Thames Path to Medley Bridge across Port Meadow to Aristotle Lane, returning via the Oxford Canal and Castle Mill stream to Folly Bridge. Coffee stop en-route. Saturday 15th Annual outing to Gloucester
The coach will depart from Pear Tree Service station at 8:30, returning at approx. 7:00 pm. The cost will be £18. A morning walk of 5.5miles along the Banks of the River Severn returning to Gloucester Quay via the canal. This is a fairly level walk with four stiles. A pre-booked lunch will be served at the Brewhouse and Kitchen where tables overlooking the waterfront have been reserved. This is an optional lunch, the cost is not included and must be paid on the day. The menu will be sent at a later date. The coach will depart Gloucester at 5:30 allowing time in the afternoon to explore the Quays, museum, shops and cathedral. Closing date for booking is August 1st. Menu choice and coach fare must be paid by August 15th. Please reserve your seats by contacting Anne

This is a linear walk in conjunction with the Oxford City Ramblers Group, as part of walk along the Seven Shires Way to the northern tip of the county and along the Oxfordshire / Northamptonshire border. Bring refreshment for en-route break and a picnic. Option of pub at the end of the walk. Assistance dogs only. There is a car share option from Water Eaton P&R at 8.30 am.
