New walks leaders needed

The task of leading walks for OFS is falling on an ever decreasing number of members. For each six month period there are 26 weekends so if there is to be a walk at the weekend as well as one midweek then more leaders are needed so that 50 walks can be offered, it is not fair to ask a small number of leaders to be leading a walk every month in order for there to be a full programme. Meet at Aldbury, by the pond, parking in the road (drive time from Oxford about 1hour). A varied and hilly walk from Aldbury, climbing the Chiltern escarpment to Ivinghoe Beacon and returning through the glorious woodlands of the Ashridge Estate (NT). Bring refreshments and a picnic. Meet at Chinnor High Street car park. A circular walk from Chinnor through the beech woods of the Chiltern Hills, passing the restored Chinnor Windmill on the way back.
