New walks leaders needed

The task of leading walks for OFS is falling on an ever decreasing number of members. For each six month period there are 26 weekends so if there is to be a walk at the weekend as well as one midweek then more leaders are needed so that 50 walks can be offered, it is not fair to ask a small number of leaders to be leading a walk every month in order for there to be a full programme. Meet by the Lamb Pub, Buckland, park considerately in the village. A peaceful woodland walk passing Pusey House and Buckland House. Bring refreshments for en route break. Pub at end of walk. We’ll cross the A420 twice. Bus 66 every 30 mins from Oxford, alight at Buckland Turn, cross A420 and follow road to village. Assistance dogs only. Lesley Fraser

Meet by the Gate Inn Upper Brailes. A hilly walk up Gillets Hill and through Ashen Coppice around southwesterly flank of Brailes Hill to Lowe Brailes.
