New walks leaders needed

The task of leading walks for OFS is falling on an ever decreasing number of members. For each six month period there are 26 weekends so if there is to be a walk at the weekend as well as one midweek then more leaders are needed so that 50 walks can be offered, it is not fair to ask a small number of leaders to be leading a walk every month in order for there to be a full programme. Meet at Charlton-on-Otmoor Church. A flat walk on Otmoor, going east towards the Roman road at the centre of Otmoor and returning near the New River Ray cut. Pub in Charlton at the end of walk. Assistance dogs only. Janice Ure

Meet in Cutteslowe Park car park (Harbord Road entrance,) fee payable. Number 2 bus from Oxford to Kidlington, alight at the Cemetery. A circular walk to Islip by the riverside, over fields to Noke, on the Oxfordshire Way, and through Prattle Wood with (hopefully) spring flowers. Bring food and drink for two short stops. A linear walk to Woodstock via Yarnton, Bladon and Blenheim Palace parkland. Returning by S3 bus from Woodstock. Bring a picnic lunch and refreshments.
