September 3rd : OFS 90th Anniversary High Tea
Following two walks, there will be a High tea with celebratory cake at Checkendon Village Hall. Please send a cheque (made payable to Oxford) for £6 no later than 31st July 2016 to Sue, 4 Grove, Oxford, OX2 7JT.

September 26-30 (Monday - Friday) : HF Lake District Residential Visit
A booking has been made with HF Holidays for a 4 night/5 day stay at the 4 star Derwent Bank House situated on the beautiful banks of Derwent Water, by Keswick in the Lake Distrcit. The accommodation is on a full board basis with breakfast, 3 course dinner and generous packed lunch. There is a choice of walks on each day with easier, medium and harder levels being catered for and led by experienced "in house" HF leaders. The scenery is absolutely stunning and provides some wonderful walking oppurtunities from lakeside strolls to more challenging fells. The cost of the holiday is about £435 based on two people sharing a room. (Final costs depends on numbers signing up.) A supplement of £8 per night is payable for single occupancy. The number of single rooms available is limited. If you are not a member of HF Holidays a £5 supplement is payable. Transport to and from Keswick is your responsibility.
