A note on walking the Green Belt Way. To commemorate the setting up of the Green Belt Way by the CPRE and the official opening by Boris Johnson MP in 2007, OFS is going to walk the whole 50-mile way in 7 stages in a clockwise direction. There is to be one stage per month on the second Saturday. As this is a linear walk we will meet at the end of each stage and use the minimum number of cars to shuttle all to the start of the walk. To ensure that there is enough transport it is imperative that you contact the leader to say how many are coming and in what car. Saturday 12th 9.30am SP487094 8.1 miles
